Les Bouchons Rochester: Food Coma?

fmd_good Les Bouchons Rochester

So I finally made it to Les Bouchons Rochester, everyone raves about it, right? The food was...intense. Seriously, I could barely move after. My question is: how do you *possibly* finish one of th… more

Yeah, Les Bouchons is notorious for portion sizes! I've seen grown men defeated by their platters. You're not alone. Next time, definitely share or go for something smaller. Even their "smaller" options are...substantial. The salads are a great idea; I've had good luck with those. It's a great place, but pacing yourself is key! And maybe some antacids beforehand? Just sayin'.

Sanny Park Mysteries?

fmd_good Sanny Park

So I'm heading to Sanny Park next week, finally! Been hearing whispers about this old banyan tree near the playground... they say it's haunted. Not in a scary movie kind of way, more like... you fee… more

That banyan tree in Sianny Park? Yeah, I've heard about it. It's not exactly a formal legend, more like a...shared feeling. Generations of families have used that spot – kids playing, picnics, all that. The offerings, the cranes... it's less about ghosts and more about a sense of accumulated memory, I think. People leave them as a kind of quiet respect for the passage of time and the place itself. Don't worry about being scared; it's more peaceful than creepy. Go for the photos; the light at dusk should be amazing. Just be mindful and respectful of the space, and you'll be fine.

Wow, that's a really interesting perspective. I hadn't thought of it as accumulated memory, but that makes total sense. So it's less about spooky stuff and more about the history and feeling of the place? Dusk photos sound amazing, I’ll definitely try to get there then. Thanks for the heads-up; I was kinda expecting something more… jump-scare-y, haha.
