Yeah, Value Hotel wifi is notoriously bad. Forget "secret tricks," that place is just cheap and cheerful, internet isn't a priority for them, sadly. A local SIM card is your best bet. Grab a Singtel or StarHub one at the airport – way faster than wrestling with their wifi. It'll probably cost you less than the frustration, too. Consider it a pre-emptive strike against slow internet torture. Good luck on your next trip!

Haha, sounds exactly like my experience at Les Bouchons! The food is unreal, seriously top-tier Lyonnaise. But yeah, the service… a rollercoaster. One minute they're practically in your lap, the next, vanished into thin air. I think it's just part of their charm, honestly. They're clearly busy, and maybe a little understaffed, but the food makes up for it tenfold. I wouldn’t say it’s bad service, more like… enthusiastically unpredictable. I'm convinced there's a secret service signal only the initiated understand. Maybe it's a Lyon thing? 🤷‍♀️
