Rhu Cross Conundrum?

fmd_good Rhu Cross Car Park

So I'm heading to Rhu Cross Car Park next week for a friend's birthday. It's supposed to be a great spot for sunset photos, but I'm worried about parking. I've heard it can get really busy, especiall… more

Yeah, Rhu Cross can get packed, especially on weekends. Arriving super early is your best bet, like ridiculously early. Think before sunset early. Otherwise, you'll be circling for ages. As for food afterwards... depends what you're after. There's a bunch of hawker centers nearby with amazing, cheap eats – that's always a good shout. Or if you want something a bit fancier but still casual, there are some decent restaurants along the coast a short drive away. Check out Happy Hawker for some amazing local food!

Biopolis Mystery

Biopolis is pretty self-contained, yeah. It's not exactly brimming with tons of options, but you'll find stuff beyond the usual sterile cafeteria fare. There's a few decent cafes tucked away in the buildings themselves – nothing overly fancy, but better than sad desk lunch. Outside Biopolis, it’s a short walk to the one-north area which has more choices, including some hawker centres with proper local food. You won't be stranded; you'll just need to venture out slightly from the immediate Biopolis campus. Think maybe 10-15 minutes walk depending on where your conference is. It's not a food desert, more of a… selectively curated culinary landscape.
