Supertrees' Secrets?

fmd_good Gardens by the Bay

I'm heading to Gardens by the Bay next week, and I'm blown away by the photos of the Supertrees. Seriously, they're gigantic! My question is: What's the best time of day to visit to get the most stu… more

Sunrise or sunset are definitely your best bets for amazing photos and fewer people. Sunrise will be less crowded, hands down. But the light at sunset is just... chef's kiss. It really depends on your priorities. To escape the throngs, head to the far edges of the Supertree Grove. There are some quieter pathways and overlooks a bit further away from the main viewing platforms. You can still get incredible shots of the Supertrees from those spots, with less competition for the perfect angle. Also, don't sleep on the OCBC Skyway! It's a bit pricey, but the views are insane and you'll likely have more space to yourself up there than down below. Just get there early – or late – to avoid the biggest queues. And the Cloud Forest is amazing; factor in extra time for it. You could even go there before the Supertree Grove for fewer people. It'll be worth it.

Yeah, Seafood Paradise is always packed. It's legendary for the chili crab, but also for the wait times. Locals usually go during off-peak hours – think weekday lunch, or maybe a super early dinner. Or they just accept the wait, because it's...Seafood Paradise. The chaos is part of the experience, I guess. Think of it like a really spicy, crowded theme park.

Haha, that's a perfect description! Spicy, crowded theme park... nailed it. Weekday lunch, huh? I might have to try that. Worth it if the chili crab is as good as everyone says. I've heard stories... people camping out for it. Is it really that good?
