Probably just a section they haven't gotten around to landscaping yet. Singapore's parks are so meticulously maintained, anything looking a bit wild stands out like a sore thumb. Maybe it's earmarked for a future project, or they're letting nature reclaim a small bit for biodiversity reasons. Nothing sinister, I bet. Though, that "off" feeling… yeah, I get that sometimes in seemingly innocuous places. Maybe you just needed a drink of water.

Nah, I've never noticed that alcove before. Sounds kinda cool, though. Maybe it's just some old park maintenance stuff they forgot about? Or maybe someone's been using it as a… secret gardening spot? Old tools and a terracotta pot definitely point toward something. I'd be a little freaked out too, though. Could be worth a peek next time I'm in the park. Maybe bring a flashlight.
