Yeah, Sanny Park's a bit like that. The legendary hawker stall thing is totally real, though. It's less "hidden" and more "really, really easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for." Think tiny, almost clandestine, tucked down a side alleyway near the playground area. It's usually only open in the evenings, and they don't have a sign. Seriously. Your friends are probably remembering the vibe more than anything concrete. My best advice? Just wander around the park's back alleys after sunset for a bit. You'll stumble upon it eventually; it's got a pretty unique smell, a sort of smoky-sweet thing. Good luck! You'll know it when you see it. Prepare for a long queue though, it's worth the wait.

Sounds like a good mystery! Maybe someone's art project? Or maybe kids playing with some really pretty glass? I'd check with the park authorities, they might know. Could also be some kind of weird geological thing – Singapore's got some interesting quirks geologically speaking. Worth investigating! Let us know what you find out.
