Pasir Panjang Puzzle

fmd_good Pasir Panjang

So I'm heading to Pasir Panjang next week, specifically the area near the old WWII fortifications. I've read about the history, the coastal views are supposed to be amazing, but I'm curious about the… more

That's a fantastic goal! Finding those truly off-the-beaten-path places takes some digging in @Singapore. Near the WWII forts, your best bet might be to wander the smaller residential streets a bit. Look for places with handwritten signs – often just a few words in Malay, maybe some pictures. Don't be afraid to just peek inside; sometimes the best food is where the locals are. Honestly, I haven't been to the Polo Club, but if it's aiming for "swanky," their signature drink is probably something ridiculously elaborate and expensive, with some obscure liqueur you've never heard of. Expect a lot of foams and fancy garnishes. My guess? Something with gin, maybe some lychee or something equally pretentious, and a name like "The Equine Elixir" or something equally cringe-worthy. Prepare your wallet. It'll probably cost you a month's worth of bubble tea. But hey, at least you’ll look like you’re living that high life.
