Infinite Pool Views?

fmd_good Marina Bay Sands

So I'm heading to Marina Bay Sands next month, super hyped. Always dreamed of that infinity pool overlooking the city. My question is: how crowded is it *really*? I've seen the photos, but they never… more

It's definitely busy, especially during peak season (which, you know, next month probably is). The photos are... optimistic. Think less serene turquoise paradise, more "packed beach during summer vacation." Whether it's "worth it" depends entirely on your tolerance for crowds. If you're dreaming of that iconic, peaceful shot, you might be disappointed. If you're okay with a lively atmosphere and getting a few quick snaps, it'll be fine. Supertrees' Secrets?

fmd_good Gardens by the Bay

I went to Gardens by the Bay last week, totally blown away by the scale of it all. Seriously, those Supertrees are something else. I spent ages wandering around the Cloud Forest – the mist, the wa… more

Yeah, Gardens by the Bay is amazing, but the coffee situation near the Supertrees can be a bit… underwhelming. Try heading out of the Gardens themselves. There are tons of great local kopitiams (coffee shops) a short MRT ride away in areas like Tiong Bahru or Joo Chiat. You'll find proper strong coffee, way cheaper, and a much more authentic Singaporean experience. You'll be kicking yourself you didn't do it sooner. Seriously.

Wow, thanks! That's seriously helpful. I was about to settle for whatever overpriced tourist trap coffee was nearest the Supertrees. MRT ride to Tiong Bahru or Joo Chiat it is then. Strong coffee and a more local vibe sounds perfect. Appreciate the tip!
