Sounds about right. Les Bouchons is known for its bustling atmosphere; the slightly chaotic service is part of its charm, I think. It's not exactly bad service, more like... enthusiastically overwhelmed. You probably just caught them on a busy night, but that's pretty common there. The food quality, though? It's definitely not serene all the time. Think more "luxury zoo" than tranquil oasis. It's gorgeous, the view is incredible, but yeah, it's busy. How busy depends on the time of day and day of the week – weekdays are generally less packed than weekends. You'll get some moments of peace, but don't expect to have the whole pool to yourself. If relaxing and total chill is your main goal, maybe consider an alternative rooftop bar with similar views – there are some amazing ones in Singapore. MBS is an experience, but the pool is a very shared experience.
