Probably just storage. Government buildings often have those tucked away for maintenance equipment or whatever. Nothing to see here, move along. Unless...it's a secret escape hatch for Lee Kuan Yew's ghost. Nah, probably just filing cabinets.

Ugh, Value Hotel in Singapore? I stayed there last year. The wifi was... inconsistent, to put it mildly. Some days it was fine, other days I'd be wrestling with it for hours. It's definitely not a place to rely on for crucial work. If you need reliable internet, seriously, spring for something else. Your sanity (and deadline) will thank you.
