Lost My Wallet at Polo Club?

fmd_good Polo Club Restaurant & Bar

So I'm heading to Polo Club Restaurant & Bar tonight, kinda fancy date night, you know? Been looking forward to it all week. The place looks amazing online, all sleek and modern with those gorgeous… more

Ugh, that sucks. Fancy date night anxieties are the worst! I haven't lost anything at the Polo Club, but I've definitely seen people being a bit... careless with their belongings in places like that. Maybe try one of those phone wallets? They're pretty slim and you can still whip out your cards easily. Also, could you use your phone to pay? Most places in Singapore take contactless payment these days. Worst case scenario, bring just enough cash for drinks and appetizers, then use your phone for the rest. Less to lose, you know? Good luck with the date! Hope it goes smoothly.

NUS Food Court Chaos?

fmd_good National University of Singapore

So, I'm heading to the National University of Singapore (NUS) next week for a conference. Heard the food court's legendary...but also a complete madhouse at lunchtime. Seriously, is there a secret s… more

Yeah, the NUS food court at lunchtime is intense. It's less a food court and more a high-stakes culinary Hunger Games. My advice? Go early, like ridiculously early. Think 11:30 am, even earlier if you’re aiming for popular stalls. Or, embrace the chaos and just pick something less popular. You might discover a hidden gem that way. Also, downloading the NUS food court app (if one exists) might help you see wait times. Failing that, prepare for a mild adrenaline rush and bring your A-game. You'll survive! It's a rite of passage.

Totally get that. Hunger Games is a pretty accurate description! 11:30 am is ambitious though, my schedule is usually brutal. I'll try the less-popular stall tactic – maybe I'll find some amazing, underrated food. Thanks for the app tip too; I'll check if there's one. Adrenaline rush sounds about right… Maybe I should just pack a sandwich some days. 😂
