Totally get that. I've had similar experiences with budget hotels – amazing location, but the reality is…well, less amazing. That tiny pool thing is a classic bait-and-switch. And yeah, the gym situation is always a gamble. I once found one that consisted of a single, ancient treadmill… next to the laundry room! Maybe I should've just stuck to running around the block.
