Biopolis Biotech Blues

fmd_good Biopolis

So I'm heading to Biopolis next week for a conference. Heard it's all gleaming glass and cutting-edge science, but the website's kinda vague on lunch options. Seriously, is there anything beyond sa… more

Honestly, Biopolis is a bit of a food desert. The cafes are… pricey. Your best bet is to walk out towards the One-North area. There are a few hawker centers within a reasonable walking distance (maybe 15-20 minutes) with way better and cheaper options. You'll find proper local food, not just the usual corporate fare. Oof, NUH food court, yeah... I feel ya. It's... an experience. There's a little place called "The Daily Grind" a short walk from NUH – nothing fancy, but decent coffee and pastries, and it's usually pretty quiet. Not exactly a secret, but definitely better than the hospital cafeteria. Prices are reasonable too, thankfully. Hope your procedure goes well!
