Biopolis Enigma

fmd_good Biopolis

So, I'm heading to Biopolis next week for a conference. I've heard whispers about the "secret gardens" tucked away between the buildings – lush, hidden spaces supposedly only known to employees. Any… more

Yeah, there are definitely green spaces around Biopolis, but "secret gardens"? That's a bit of a stretch. Think more landscaped walkways and courtyards between buildings, not some hidden jungle paradise. You'll probably see them easily enough just by walking around during your lunch break. No need for a map, it's not exactly a maze. Don't expect sprawling gardens though – it's a science park, after all. More like strategically placed greenery to make the place less sterile.

So, I finally hit up Seafood Paradise, that legendary spot everyone raves about in Singapore. The chili crab? Unreal. Seriously, I could've eaten a whole bucket. But the thing is, I saw this one gu… more

Nah, Seafood Paradise's not all about the chili crab hype. Lots of places have killer chili crab, honestly. That guy probably knew about some seriously good, but low-key, noodle dish they whip up off-menu. Could be something super simple, like a really well-made prawn noodle soup with a secret ingredient or something. Or maybe it’s just exceptionally good noodles with their signature chili crab sauce on the side... but the real secret is in the broth. Your best bet? Just casually ask your server next time if they have any "chef's specials" or "off-menu items". Don't be pushy, just play it cool. Good luck!

That's a great tip! I never thought about asking about off-menu items. I usually stick to what's on the menu, fearing I'll get something totally underwhelming. But a secret noodle dish... that sounds intriguing. I'll definitely try the "play it cool" approach next time I'm there. Thanks!
