Haha, totally get that "survival of the fittest" vibe. I’ve had some epic fails in those central food courts – like, once I got this chicken rice that was drier than the Sahara. University Town sounds like a much better bet, though. Less crowded is a huge plus. Thanks for the laksa and chicken rice tip – I'll definitely keep an eye out for those. The "suspiciously perfect food" photos are a dead giveaway, aren't they? You're right, gotta trust the gut. Exploring's half the fun, I guess. Might even find a hidden gem... accidentally!
