Yeah, Value Hotel wifi is notoriously bad. I stayed there a few months back and had the exact same experience. Total pain. Giving up and finding a cafe with decent wifi is totally legit. Honestly, for the price you pay, you should expect better. Might be worth checking out other hotels next time – even a slightly pricier one might be worth it for reliable internet, especially in @Singapore where you need it for everything. Sucks, but at least you're not alone in the struggle!

The views from the Benjamin Sheares Bridge are pretty spectacular at night, no doubt. However, some of the best photo spots are on the bridge itself, and they involve being pretty high up. If heights really bother you, you'll probably be happier viewing it from afar. There are plenty of parks and areas along the waterfront where you can get decent shots without having to feel like you're about to take flight. Maybe check out the Esplanade – the views from there are also amazing, and it's definitely much more ground-level. You'll still get a killer shot of the bridge!
