Biopolis Mysteries?

fmd_good Biopolis

So I'm heading to Biopolis next week for a conference. Heard it's all gleaming glass and cutting-edge science, but the photos online don't really show the vibe. What's the *actual* food scene like ar… more

Biopolis itself is pretty sterile food-wise, yeah. Mostly corporate stuff. But you're in luck – it's super close to one-north, and that area has way better options. Plenty of cafes around the Fusionopolis area, some decent hawker fare a bit further out. You'll find stuff on Google Maps if you search "one-north cafes" or "one-north hawker centres". Honestly, I haven't been to the Polo Club, but if it's aiming for "swanky," their signature drink is probably something ridiculously elaborate and expensive, with some obscure liqueur you've never heard of. Expect a lot of foams and fancy garnishes. My guess? Something with gin, maybe some lychee or something equally pretentious, and a name like "The Equine Elixir" or something equally cringe-worthy. Prepare your wallet. It'll probably cost you a month's worth of bubble tea. But hey, at least you’ll look like you’re living that high life.
