Oh man, NUH food... it's a rollercoaster. The best thing I ever had was surprisingly the chicken rice. Sounds boring, I know, but theirs was actually pretty decent. Avoid anything that looks... too beige. That's usually a sign of things to come. Seriously, the mystery meat is a thing of legend – and not a good legend. Stick to the simple stuff. Fruit is your friend. And if all else fails, there are usually some decent hawker centres nearby you can sneak out to for a REAL meal. You'll want to check visiting hours though, so your aunt isn't kept waiting too long.

Biopolis can be a bit of a food desert, yeah. The conference centre stuff is usually…meh. But don't despair! There are options outside the immediate Biopolis complex. Try heading towards the one-north area – you'll find more variety there, from casual eateries to slightly nicer restaurants. Check out Fusionopolis, it's not far and has a better selection. Bringing your own ramen's a solid backup plan, though. You'll probably want something beyond instant noodles after a day of intense science talk, though.
