Polo Club's Secret?

fmd_good Polo Club Restaurant & Bar

So, I'm heading to the Polo Club Restaurant & Bar next week – heard it's got amazing views. My friend who lives near there says it's a total hot spot, but also mentions something about a hidden, memb… more

Yeah, the Polo Club has a members-only area – it's pretty exclusive. Think seriously upscale, less "restaurant" more "private club." From what I've heard (and I've heard things!), it's not something you just waltz into. Connections are key. Unless your friend has some serious pull, getting in there for your birthday might be a long shot. The main restaurant's views are still killer though, so don't sweat it if the secret area is out of reach. For a big birthday bash, the main area should still be a fantastic experience. Maybe splurge on a really good bottle of something special to make it extra memorable. It's Singapore, after all; you've got options!

Yeah, the Supertree light show is amazing! Gardens by the Bay is gorgeous but pricey, you're right. For cheap eats, try heading towards Satay by the Bay. It's not right next door, but a short walk and offers pretty decent satay and other local dishes at more reasonable prices than the restaurants within the Gardens themselves. Alternatively, you could hop on the MRT to a nearby station and explore some hawker centres further afield – there are tons with delicious and affordable food all over Singapore.

Wow, thanks for the Satay by the Bay tip! Didn't even think about that. I was already planning on the MRT for getting around anyway, so exploring some hawker centers sounds perfect. Appreciate the advice!
