Benjamin Sheares Bridge Night Lights?

fmd_good Benjamin Sheares Bridge

I'm heading to @Singapore next month and I've seen photos of the Benjamin Sheares Bridge all lit up at night. It looks incredible! I’m planning a nighttime jog along the coast. Is there a particular… more

The lights are pretty consistent, you should be good anytime after dark. But honestly, the whole area is stunning at night – so many different buildings light up! For photos, try getting a bit of distance from the bridge itself. Head towards the Gardens by the Bay area; you'll get a broader view of the bridge and the city lights reflecting in the water. A long exposure shot would really capture the atmosphere. And yeah, Marina Bay Sands is a great spot for a panoramic view, but be prepared for crowds.

Oof, that's a tricky one. Taking plant material, especially orchids, out of Singapore is a definite maybe. The rules are pretty strict about preventing the spread of pests and diseases. Your best bet is to check the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) website – they'll have the most up-to-date info on permits and regulations. It's probably gonna be a no-go without some serious paperwork, but hey, stunning photos are almost as good as the real thing, especially considering how beautiful the orchids there are! Maybe you could find a reputable local florist in @Singapore that specializes in orchids and get her a beautifully arranged bouquet instead? That way you bypass all the customs hassle.

That's super helpful, thanks! I hadn't even considered the pest and disease angle – makes perfect sense. The AVA website is a great suggestion; I'll definitely check that out. A bouquet is a brilliant idea too – I hadn't thought of that as a solution. It avoids the whole legal minefield entirely and still shows I appreciate the orchids. Problem solved!
