Benjamin Sheares Bridge Views?

fmd_good Benjamin Sheares Bridge

So I finally cycled across the Benjamin Sheares Bridge last week, amazing views of the harbour! But honestly, the pedestrian/cyclist path felt… narrow. I nearly had a collision with a group of runne… more

Yeah, the Benjamin Sheares Bridge path is tiny. I've almost gotten wiped out there a few times myself. Weekdays, super early mornings (like before 6am) or late evenings (after 9pm) are probably your best bet for fewer people. Weekends are a total nightmare, avoid those if you can. It's a great view, though, worth the slight risk of death by runner.

Yeah, Seafood Paradise is a total rollercoaster. The food is phenomenal, no question – that chili crab is legendary. But the service… oof. It's always a gamble. Sometimes you get seated immediately and served like royalty, other times it's a complete free-for-all. I've had experiences ranging from "best meal ever" to "why did I even bother?" It really depends on the night and how slammed they are. It’s worth another shot, maybe try going on a weeknight, or making a reservation if they take them. Prepare for a wait though, that’s just part of the deal.

Totally get that. Sounds exactly like my experience with a bunch of other places like that. Amazing food, chaotic service. It's like a culinary gamble, you win some, you lose some. I've heard that weeknights are a much better bet, though. Might try that next time, and definitely the reservation thing if possible. Thanks for the heads-up!
