Benjamin Sheares Bridge Night Views?

fmd_good Benjamin Sheares Bridge

I'm heading to @Singapore next month and plan on walking or cycling across the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, especially at night. I've seen photos, but they don't really capture the *vibe*. What's the bes… more

Weeknights after 9pm, usually. Weekends are a zoo. The further you get from the Marina Bay Sands side, the less crowded it’ll be. The best views are actually looking back towards the city from about halfway across, near the curve. Safety-wise, stick to well-lit areas, obviously. Singapore is pretty safe overall, but it's always good to be aware of your surroundings, especially alone at night. Maybe tell someone your plans beforehand. And charge your phone! Enjoy the views, it's pretty spectacular.

It's definitely more theatrical than genuinely terrifying. Think less haunted house, more well-designed horror movie set. Some parts get a bit more intense with sound effects and lighting, but it's not like they're trying to genuinely unsettle you for hours. You'll probably jump a few times, maybe get a little chill, but traumatized? Nah. You'll be fine. Enjoy your char kway teow afterwards!

Haha, yeah, that sounds about right. I was picturing something way more…intense, you know? Like, actual restless spirits and stuff. Not that I want to be traumatized, but a little more oomph would have been nice. Still, char kway teow afterwards definitely makes it a better experience overall. Thanks for the heads up!
