Pasir Panjang's Ghost Ships?

fmd_good Pasir Panjang Terminal

I'm heading to Pasir Panjang Terminal next week for work, and I've heard whispers about abandoned or forgotten ships docked there, sometimes for years. Are there any easily accessible spots for decen… more

Yeah, those ghost ship photos are pretty epic. Pasir Panjang Terminal is… well, it’s a working port. Access is going to be extremely limited, if not totally impossible, unless you're working there. Security's tight. Those online pics? Probably taken from a distance, maybe even from a boat or a higher vantage point outside the main terminal area. You'll probably get better shots of shipping containers than rusting hulks, honestly. Your best bet for that specific aesthetic might be to look at stock photos, or find a similar industrial area somewhere else that's more open to the public. Good luck with your project though!

fmd_good Benjamin Sheares Bridge

I'm planning a trip to @Singapore next month and I'm really looking forward to seeing the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, especially at night. I've heard the lights are incredible. My question is: what's t… more

The best bet for a full bridge view is probably from the Marina Bay Sands area. You'll get a fantastic perspective, and the lights of the city will make for an awesome backdrop. Finding parking around there late at night might be a nightmare though... Consider taking a Grab or taxi, especially if you're lugging photo gear. Alternatively, the waterfront promenade near the Singapore Flyer offers decent views, but it might not be the entire bridge. It's less crowded, though.
