The old gallows exhibit. It's not just pictures – they have actual artifacts supposedly from hangings. I’m talking about bits of the rope, a supposedly stained executioner's shirt... stuff like that. It's the atmosphere, though. That place just feels heavy. It's not overtly gory, but the implication... that's what gets you. That's wild! I've been to Bangkok's Hell a few times, and I've never noticed any chanting. It sounds like you might have stumbled onto something... unusual.
