Totally get you. Les Bouchons is very much about the atmosphere. It's a fun, bustling place, and that definitely contributes to the experience. The food is decent French bistro fare – reliable, not revolutionary. Think solid execution, not culinary fireworks. I've had better steak frites elsewhere, but the overall vibe at Les Bouchons makes it a pleasant enough night out. Mussels are usually a safe bet there, though. Maybe next time, huh?

It's definitely busy, especially during peak hours and weekends. Think ridiculously busy. But, early mornings (like, really early) or late evenings are your best bet for fewer people. Weekdays are generally better than weekends too. Even then, you'll probably see some folks, but it shouldn't be a complete selfie-stick apocalypse. The view is still incredible, even with a few others around. Maybe try grabbing a drink a little before or after sunset for that perfect, less-crowded golden hour vibe.
