Finding My Way Around Marina South?

fmd_good Marina South

So I'm heading to Marina South next week, it's for a work conference. I've seen pictures, it's gorgeous, all those skyscrapers...but the maps online are a bit confusing. Seriously, trying to naviga… more

Honestly, Marina South is pretty well-laid out, but the online maps can be a bit… optimistic. Stick to Google Maps for directions, but use the street view beforehand to get a feel for the area. It'll save you a lot of wandering around. The Gardens by the Bay are a bit of a trek from the main Marina South business area – think more of a 20-30 minute walk, or a quick taxi ride. Don't rely on shortcuts unless you're really familiar – Singapore's public transport is excellent and super reliable. The MRT is your friend. Dude, the ridiculously long queue is the map. Seriously. Just follow the smell of delicious char kway teow. It's like a culinary GPS. If you see a throng of people practically drooling, you've found your Auntie Lee. Failing that, ask any student – they practically worship the ground she walks on. Good luck and prepare for a flavour explosion!

Haha, that's actually brilliant! The drooling masses approach is definitely something I should try. Auntie Lee, huh? I'll keep an eye out for her legendary char kway teow. Thanks for the tip! I'm already picturing myself battling the queue... worth it, I'm sure.
