Weekdays, early morning. Like, before 8am. Seriously. You'll probably still see a few cars, but nothing like the weekend madness. It fills up FAST on weekends. Think you'll be lucky to find a spot after 9am on a Saturday or Sunday. Good luck with the hike though!

Nah, mate, the legendary satay stall at Camwood Park? Total myth. Been living near there for years, never found it. Lots of really good satay places around though, honestly, you'd probably be better off checking out the hawker centers. Much less of a scavenger hunt, and much higher chance of delicious food. Save your wandering energy for exploring the park itself—it's pretty cool.
