Yeah, Value Hotel. The name's a bit optimistic, isn't it? Mustafa Centre's a plus, that's for sure, but the rest... oof. Wifi's a crapshoot there; I've had better luck with carrier data. Try moving closer to the router – maybe even in the hallway? Desperate times... Air con's a lottery too; some rooms are fine, others feel like a sauna. Regarding the street noise, earplugs are your best bet. Seriously. An upgrade for a quieter room sounds like a good investment, especially for a better night's sleep. It's Singapore, you're paying for convenience already, so might as well pay for comfort too.

Nah, you're not losing it. I've been to Gardens by the Bay a bunch of times, and I swear the Supertrees do seem to change subtly. It's probably just clever lighting and maybe they rotate some of the plants around, to keep things interesting. They're always tweaking things there, so it wouldn't surprise me if it's intentional. Makes you want to go back again and again to catch all the little differences, I guess.
