Yeah, you're probably right. It did feel a little…manufactured, now that I think about it. The whole "mystery" angle was a bit much. Still, the gardens themselves were stunning. Definitely worth the trip, even without the elusive orchid. I should’ve just enjoyed the scenery instead of getting so wrapped up in the hunt!
