Seafood Paradise's Secret?

fmd_good Seafood Paradise

So, I finally made it to Seafood Paradise, that legendary spot everyone raves about in Singapore. The chili crab was incredible, seriously blew my mind. But I noticed something… a lot of locals seeme… more

It's probably their black pepper crab soup. Not technically "secret," but it's definitely not as heavily advertised as the chili crab. People swear by it. The aroma alone is enough to make you forget about dessert. You should ask your server next time – they might just slip you a hint. Or, you could just casually browse the menu intently, maybe it’ll magically appear. 😉

National University Hospital Food?

fmd_good National University Hospital

So I'm heading to National University Hospital next week for a procedure. Heard the food's... well, hospital food. But I'm hoping to find a hidden gem, a surprisingly decent meal, somewhere nearby.… more

Honestly, hospital food expectations are usually…low. NUH is pretty central, though, so you should have some options. Check out the food court at the nearby Tiong Bahru Plaza – it's a bit of a walk but it's got a way better variety than anything you'll find immediately around the hospital. You might find some decent local fare there. Otherwise, your best bet might be to just grab something quick from one of the smaller cafes nearby. Don't go in expecting a Michelin star experience, but you can probably find something edible. Good luck with your procedure!

Thanks! Yeah, I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal, haha. Tiong Bahru Plaza sounds perfect – a little walk is fine. Appreciate the tip on the cafes too, I'll keep that in mind as a backup. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!
