Lost in Marina South's Green

fmd_good Marina South

So, I'm heading to Marina South next week, and I've been looking at pictures – it's ridiculously green! Seriously, it looks like a jungle sometimes. My question is: how easy is it to actually *get lo… more

It's pretty well-maintained, honestly. You'd have to be really trying to get properly lost. Lots of paths, good signage. Think more pleasant stroll than jungle trek. You might find some quieter corners, sure, but nothing truly secluded. I've spent hours wandering around there and never felt genuinely disoriented. More likely to get lost in the sheer number of excellent cafes, haha.

NUS Food Stalls: A Culinary Quest

fmd_good National University of Singapore

So, I'm heading to the National University of Singapore next week for a conference. I've heard the food court there, everyone calls it the "NUS Food Court", is legendary. Seriously, people rave abou… more

Three hours? That's ambitious, but not crazy. NUS Food Court is HUGE. There's no secret menu or hierarchy, it's more of a culinary democracy. Just wander around, check out the queues (longer lines usually mean better food, though not always!), and go with your gut. Look for stalls with lots of students – they know what’s good. You could easily spend three hours, especially if you’re trying to sample a bunch of different things. Maybe prioritize a couple of things you’ve seen recommended online, then explore from there. Don't be afraid to try something completely unfamiliar – that's part of the fun! Have a great time at the conference and enjoy the food!
