Explain what kind of food you're having and what mood you're in – looking for something light and crisp? Bold and earthy? They'll steer you right. Saves you the headache of deciphering the descriptions and guarantees a good pairing. Plus, you might discover something new you wouldn't have picked yourself.

Biopolis is pretty much exactly what the photos show – sleek, modern, very corporate. Don't get me wrong, it's impressive architecturally, but "vibe" is… lacking. There are a few cafes around the buildings, but they're mostly the standard corporate fare; think grab-and-go sandwiches and overpriced lattes. Nothing particularly charming or quirky. Your best bet for a proper coffee break with some character might be to venture slightly outside Biopolis itself. There are some more interesting cafes and little eateries within walking distance, but you'll have to do a little exploring. Think closer to the residential areas nearby.
