Yeah, the chili crab at Seafood Paradise is next level. I've been a few times and the service inconsistency is definitely a thing. Sometimes it's fine, other times... oof. It's almost like they prioritize getting the food out quickly over everything else, which is great for the food, but not great for the overall experience. Maybe it's just a staffing issue, or maybe that's their "charm". I've just learned to accept it as part of the experience, kinda like paying a premium for slightly chaotic amazingness. Worth it for the crab, though.

Get there early. Seriously, like, ridiculously early. Think 7am early on a Saturday. Rhu Cross is popular, and while the car park isn't tiny, it fills up fast. Alternatively, consider using public transport and walking the extra bit. It'll save you the parking hassle and maybe even add to the overall experience. Less stressful start to your hike that way.
