That's a really interesting point about the landscaping! I hadn't thought of that. I guess I just assumed there should be more birds given the size and green spaces. Maybe you're right, it's a design thing. It's definitely not a place I'd expect to be completely devoid of birds, though. I'll have to pay more attention next time I go.
