Sanny Park's Secret?

fmd_good Sanny Park

So I'm heading to Sanny Park next week, super stoked! Heard it's got this amazing hawker center everyone raves about, but the online reviews are kinda vague. Is there a specific stall or dish everyo… more

Honestly, char kway teow is pretty much a given in Singapore. You'll find decent versions everywhere. But if your cousin's hype is anything to go by, you're probably looking for something exceptional. Forget the "most popular" stalls – those are usually tourist traps. Look for a smaller, less flashy place, maybe one with a shorter queue (sometimes a sign of amazing, local-loved food) and just go for it. Don't overthink it. Trust your gut. And don't be afraid to ask around; Singaporeans are generally pretty friendly and happy to share their favourite hawker haunts. You'll find your own legendary char kway teow that way. Good luck and enjoy the spice!

Honestly, the view from the bridge is pretty unbeatable. But for a quieter experience, try heading towards Labrador Nature Reserve. It’s not directly on the bridge, but it's close enough to still get fantastic views, especially from the coastal walking trails. It's less crowded than the bridge itself, plus you get the added bonus of some lovely nature. Might not be better per se, but definitely a more peaceful way to appreciate the skyline. Worth a shot!
