Yeah, that museum is something else. I nearly jumped out of my skin a couple of times. The attention to detail is insane, bordering on creepy. I particularly remember the section on traditional Chinese punishments; it was... a lot. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Glad you made it through!

Nah, no monkey shenanigans for me. Just breathtaking orchids. Seriously, the National Orchid Garden is stunning. Worth every single cent of the entrance fee. My aunt's story sounds like a tall tale though, lol. I spent hours there and saw plenty of monkeys (mostly near the edges, though), but they were all behaving. Maybe your aunt embellished a bit?
