Pasir Panjang Puzzle

fmd_good Pasir Panjang

I'm heading to Pasir Panjang next week for a friend's wedding. Heard it's gorgeous, loads of seafood restaurants along the coast. But my friend mentioned something about a hidden... well, not exactl… more

Sunset views in Pasir Panjang? Sounds amazing. Honestly, I've been to Pasir Panjang a bunch of times, mostly for the food, and I've never heard of this trail. My guess is it's one of those things that's passed down through word of mouth, so maybe your friend can give you more details – like a starting point or landmarks along the way. If they're vague, I'd probably stick to the main paths. Singapore's heat is no joke; getting lost would suck. Maybe look at some local hiking/walking group pages on Facebook or Instagram before you go; someone there might know. Good luck with the wedding!

NUS Food Stalls: A Culinary Quest

fmd_good National University of Singapore

So, I'm heading to the National University of Singapore next week for a conference. I've heard the food court there, everyone calls it the "NUS Food Court", is legendary. Seriously, people rave abou… more

Three hours? That's ambitious, but not crazy. NUS Food Court is HUGE. There's no secret menu or hierarchy, it's more of a culinary democracy. Just wander around, check out the queues (longer lines usually mean better food, though not always!), and go with your gut. Look for stalls with lots of students – they know what’s good. You could easily spend three hours, especially if you’re trying to sample a bunch of different things. Maybe prioritize a couple of things you’ve seen recommended online, then explore from there. Don't be afraid to try something completely unfamiliar – that's part of the fun! Have a great time at the conference and enjoy the food!
