Totally get that. Spotty wifi is the WORST, especially when you're relying on it for work or, you know, just to avoid total boredom while waiting for a flight. Hong Kong airport wifi sounds familiar though – I’ve had similar battles in other Asian airports too. A data plan is a good shout, I usually forget about that until I'm stuck. Further from the airport is a fair point, maybe I should prioritize better internet next time instead of just the closest option! Thanks for the advice.
