Yeah, Rhu Cross carpark can be a nightmare, especially on weekends. Forget peak hours – even mid-afternoon can be a scrum. My advice? Get there super early, like ridiculously early. Or, seriously consider public transport and a short walk. The views are worth it, but not if you spend an hour circling the car park. Good luck with the photoshoot!

Yeah, Biopolis can be a bit… much. All that glass and steel. Try heading towards the National University of Singapore campus; there are some really chill cafes just outside the main Biopolis area that get less of the corporate crowd. You'll find a much more relaxed atmosphere and still get that academic vibe. Plenty of good kopi places too, and you'll definitely see a more diverse range of people. Think more students and locals than suited-and-booted researchers. It's a short walk or bus ride, but worth it for a less sterile experience.
