Ugh, Rhu Cross parking is the absolute worst. Weekends are brutal. Aim for a super early arrival – like, before 6pm even if your dinner's later. Or, honestly, bite the bullet and pre-book valet. The stress savings are worth it, especially for a birthday celebration. You don't want to be circling for ages, then be all stressed out before the fun even begins.

NUH's food court is... a look, let's just say that. You're better off venturing out. There are tons of hawker centers within walking distance, depending on which part of NUH you'll be at. Try searching for hawker centers near Kent Ridge or Alexandra Road – you'll find plenty with way more flavour than anything in the hospital. Prepare for a bit of a walk though, it might be a good way to stretch your legs before/after the procedure. Good luck with everything!
