Marina South Mysteries?

fmd_good Marina South

So, I'm heading to Marina South next week. I've heard whispers...legends, really, about a hidden speakeasy tucked away somewhere near the waterfront. Supposedly, you need a secret password or some ki… more

Nah, no luck finding that specific speakeasy myself. Marina South's pretty well-documented online, so if it's that secret, it's probably REALLY well-hidden. You'd probably have better luck just wandering around the waterfront area at night and seeing what you stumble upon. Maybe chat up some bartenders in the more established places; they might have the lowdown. Head down to Tiong Bahru Market. It's a bit of a walk, but the laksa there is phenomenal – seriously, it'll make you forget all about the gecko incident. Plus, the whole market's got a great vibe; much nicer than battling humidity in your room. You won't regret it.

Seriously? Tiong Bahru Market? That's brilliant! I completely forgot about that place. I was so focused on the, uh, gecko situation, I didn't think about venturing out. Laksa sounds amazing right now. Thanks for the tip! I should of thought of that myself.
