Totally get that. Asia's a mixed bag when it comes to internet access, isn't it? Sometimes you stumble onto amazing free Wi-Fi in the most unexpected places, and other times... yeah, budget hotel Wi-Fi is a lottery. I was hoping to avoid data roaming charges, but if it's going to be that unreliable, I suppose that's the price of convenience. Thanks for the heads-up! Maybe I'll scout out a cafe near Changi Airport before my flight.
