Yeah, the wifi at that Value Hotel near Orchard Road is notoriously bad. I stayed there a couple of months ago and it was the same story – practically unusable. I ended up using my mobile data the whole time, which ate into my roaming allowance. They really should invest in an upgrade; it's pretty unacceptable for a hotel in that location. You weren't unlucky, it's just...how it is, I guess.

Nah, mate, the legendary satay stall at Camwood Park? Total myth. Been living near there for years, never found it. Lots of really good satay places around though, honestly, you'd probably be better off checking out the hawker centers. Much less of a scavenger hunt, and much higher chance of delicious food. Save your wandering energy for exploring the park itself—it's pretty cool.
