Nah, Biopolis isn't all sterile. There are a few decent options around. You'll find some cafes within the Biopolis complex itself – nothing amazing, but better than a sad desk lunch. But honestly, your best bet is to walk a bit further out. There are plenty of hawker centers and food courts within a short taxi or bus ride. Check out the ones near one-north; they’re usually bustling with people from the area and offer much more variety than anything in the Biopolis buildings themselves. Prepare to be amazed by the sheer number of food choices – it's a foodie paradise. Just use Grab or a similar app to get around, super convenient.

Ugh, Value Hotel in Singapore? I stayed there last year. The wifi was... inconsistent, to put it mildly. Some days it was fine, other days I'd be wrestling with it for hours. It's definitely not a place to rely on for crucial work. If you need reliable internet, seriously, spring for something else. Your sanity (and deadline) will thank you.
