Seriously, sentient tree spirits? That's hilarious, but also... kinda makes me want to bring a whole picnic basket now. Extra snacks for the tree and me, I guess. My grandma always said she heard voices, not whispers, though... maybe it depends on the wind? Or maybe she was just really lonely back then. Anyway, flashlight and snacks it is. Wish me luck!
