Yeah, Marina Bay Sands is a labyrinth! I've been there a few times and still get turned around. The casino especially… it's designed that way, I think. To keep you in there longer. For the infinity pool, head towards the hotel towers – you should see signs eventually. But honestly, just ask someone at one of the many information desks. They're everywhere, surprisingly. Good luck, you'll need it navigating that place!

Nah, you weren't imagining it. I went a few months back and got the same thing. It’s unsettling, that quiet punctuated by… something. I chalked it up to clever sound design, tbh. Probably strategically placed speakers or something. They're pretty good at creating atmosphere in that place. Still creepy as hell though. Didn't get a caffeine deficiency explanation, though. Maybe they're playing on some kind of auditory illusion? Makes you jumpy anyway.
