Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool?

fmd_good Marina Bay Sands

So, I'm heading to @Singapore next month and staying at the Marina Bay Sands. Heard the infinity pool is...insane. But seriously, how crowded is it *actually*? I'm picturing a scene straight out of… more

It's definitely popular, so you won't get complete solitude. Early mornings (before 8am) are your best bet for fewer people. Weekdays are generally less packed than weekends. Think about grabbing a drink or snack at the bar – you'll get a different perspective and probably some quieter moments. Also, don't forget the view from the observation deck; equally stunning and often less crowded than the pool itself. Prepare for some lines, though – it's the MBS after all. It's... definitely an experience. Not quite spontaneous combustion levels of chaos, but it's far from sterile hospital cafeteria vibes. Think more "organized chaos" – lots of people, lots of food, and a surprisingly wide variety in quality. You'll find some genuinely decent stuff alongside some... questionable choices. Prepare for a potentially long queue, and manage your expectations. Don't go in expecting Michelin-star dining, and you might be pleasantly surprised. Basically, it lives up to the legend, but maybe not in the ways you’d expect.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Organized chaos is a perfect description. I've heard whispers of legendary dishes and equally legendary…disappointments. So it's a bit of a gamble, huh? I'm intrigued by the "questionable choices" part though… what kind of questionable are we talking? Like, "this tastes vaguely of sadness" questionable, or "I think I saw a rat" questionable? Knowing that might help me mentally prepare myself... or maybe just run screaming in the other direction.
