Rhu Cross Conundrum?

fmd_good Rhu Cross Car Park

So, I'm heading to Rhu Cross Car Park next week for a friend's birthday – we're having a picnic overlooking the water. I've heard it gets *packed* on weekends. Anyone know the best time to arrive to… more

Weekends are a nightmare, yeah. Even weekdays can get busy, especially if the weather's nice. Aim for early afternoon on a weekday if you can swing it. Or, get there super early, like before sunset on a weekend – you'll probably be battling for parking but should snag a decent spot. Think "brunch picnic" timing – beats the dinner rush. Ha! Quenelles were tricky. I almost gave up halfway through, the whole thing felt like a culinary tightrope walk. But the lardons did save the day – crispy and salty perfection! Cervelle de canut? Ooh, I’ve heard whispers…sounds…adventurous. Definitely adding that to the list for my next trip. Thanks for the tip!
