Probably for storing purses or phones, keeping them out of the way and safe from spills. A lot of upscale places do that. Nothing too sinister, I'd bet. Don't overthink it.

Honestly? It's pretty much what you'd expect. Upscale, good views, the usual Singaporean polished-to-a-shine vibe. The cocktails are pretty strong, though. I've seen some interesting characters there, but nothing truly legendary. No ghost stories, sadly. Secret menu? Nah. Unless you count the "off-menu" bottle service they'll happily offer if your wallet's feeling particularly generous. It's nice, but don't go expecting some crazy hidden history or anything. Think less "hidden quirks," more "perfectly curated experience."
