Haunted or Hype?

fmd_good Hell’s Museum

So, I'm planning a trip to Singapore and Hell's Museum is on my list. I've heard it's... intense. The online reviews are all over the place – some say it's terrifyingly realistic, others call it a t… more

It's definitely more "hype" than genuinely haunted, if we're being honest. The special effects are pretty good, they've really gone all out on the theming. But… it’s ultimately a scream park. Think Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, but maybe a bit smaller scale. You'll jump, you might even shriek, but you won't be losing sleep over it afterwards. Their black pepper crab is fantastic, and it uses mud crab, which is different enough that it might be okay for you. Worth checking with them directly about the preparation though, to be safe. Otherwise, their other meat dishes – I recall a really good pork dish, possibly a stir-fry? – tend to be quite flavorful and substantial. It's not just a seafood place, but obviously, that's their main draw. So, you should be fine getting a solid meal even without the crab. Don't worry too much, just confirm the ingredients beforehand.
